The Custom Offer sent by Cleaner must address the Hourly Rate and estimated number of working hours during the Hourly Contract. The minimal number of working hours on Hourly Contracts is 2 hours.
Booking and Hourly Work Guidelines for Cleaners
Task-Based Booking:
Purpose: Cleaners are booked for specific cleaning tasks, such as preparing a property for a new guest, post-renovation cleaning, or turnover cleaning. Each job is defined by its requirements and duration.
Implementation: When a Pro Host requests a cleaning service, they outline the job’s scope, which determines the estimated hours required. Cleaners then accept or negotiate the job based on these requirements.
Hourly Limits for Specific Jobs:
Defining Hours: Cleaners and Hosts agree on the estimated number of hours needed for each cleaning job. This ensures that both parties understand the expected duration and can plan accordingly.
Adjustments: If a job takes more or less time than initially estimated, adjustments can be made. Any changes should be communicated and agreed upon by both the Cleaner and the Host before or during the job.
Managing Changes:
Flexibility: If a job’s requirements change (e.g., additional tasks are added), the Cleaner and Host should discuss and agree on the revised number of hours needed.
Documentation: It’s helpful for Cleaners to document the actual hours worked for each job to keep both parties informed and facilitate accurate billing and payment.
Contract Termination and Management for Cleaners
Contract Termination:
Notice Period: Either the Pro Host or the Cleaner can terminate a specific cleaning job or booking by providing 24 hours’ prior notice via the Booking Page. This allows both parties to manage their schedules and adjust plans as needed.
Contract Suspension:
Pausing Jobs: Pro Hosts can pause a specific cleaning job or booking by providing 24 hours’ prior notice. This pause allows for adjustments in scheduling if needed, without terminating the agreement entirely.
Reporting and Payment:
Work Reporting: Cleaners must report the hours worked for each specific job and complete the cleaning within the agreed timeframe, ensuring accurate and timely service delivery.
Payment: Pro Hosts are required to pay for the completed job based on the agreed terms, with payments processed in the next billing cycle as outlined in the Payment Terms.
Inactivity Termination:
Automatic Termination: Any cleaning job or booking that remains inactive for a period of 3 months will be automatically terminated. This ensures that outdated or unfulfilled bookings do not remain open indefinitely.
Time Reporting for Cleaners
Reporting Hours:
Timeliness: Cleaners should report their hours immediately after completing each specific cleaning job. They must provide detailed descriptions of the work performed, including any relevant context.
Submission: Once hours are logged, they are sent to the Pro Host for review. Cleaners are encouraged to add additional information or attach relevant files to offer more context. This information may be used by CleanStayAirbb Customer Support in case of a dispute.
Accuracy and Completeness:
Requirements: Reported hours must be accurate and complete, reflecting the true time spent on the job and consistent with the agreed terms of the booking.
Hourly Limit and Payment:
Limits: Cleaners acknowledge that they will not be paid for any hours that exceed the agreed Hourly Limit or any time that significantly exceeds the initial time estimation for the job.
Reporting Deadline: All working hours for the week must be reported by Sunday at 23:59 UTC. Hours not reported by this deadline will not be included in the Weekly Report, and the Cleaner will not be compensated for these unreported hours.
This structure ensures clear and accurate reporting, aligns with the nature of specific cleaning tasks, and maintains transparency in payment and reporting.
Time Management for Cleaners
Job Completion:
Hourly Limits: Cleaners should adhere to the agreed-upon time for each specific cleaning job. This time is set based on the scope of work defined by the Pro Host.
Additional Information: If needed, Cleaners may provide additional details or context about the job directly to the Pro Host to clarify the scope or any extra time spent.
Payment Guidelines:
Hourly Limits: Cleaners will be paid based on the agreed-upon hourly limits and time estimations for each job. Any time that exceeds these limits significantly will not be compensated.
Payment Cycle: Payment for completed jobs is processed according to the agreed terms in the Weekly Billing Cycle.
Inactive Jobs:
Automatic Termination: Jobs that remain inactive or are not completed within 3 months will be automatically terminated.
Project Milestones
Services and Custom Offers above $100 may include up to six project milestones, the minimum amount for each milestone is $50 and the project should include at least two milestones. Each milestone is paid and delivered separately in accordance with each Service or Custom Offer’s description and timelines.
Once a milestone is delivered and marked as completed, Hosts may choose to either continue with the Booking and pay for the next milestone, or to stop the Booking. If Host does not pay for the next milestone within 10 days of acceptance of previous milestones, the Booking under the next milestones will not start. A milestone will be automatically marked as complete if no acceptance or request for modification were submitted within 8 days after being marked as Delivered, however, in such case all further milestones will not start.

The Host may extend such period by up to 5 additional days.
For Hourly Contracts, a Weekly Report will be automatically marked as complete if not disputed within 72 hours after charging the Host’s payment method.
A milestone (on a Booking with milestones) is marked as “Complete” after it is delivered by the Cleaner and then accepted by the Host. A milestone will be automatically marked as “Complete” if no acceptance or request for modification were submitted within 8 days after being marked as Delivered, however, in such case the Booking will stop and all further milestones will not start. Once a milestone is delivered and accepted, Hosts may choose to either continue with the Booking and pay for the next milestone, or to stop the Booking. If Host does not pay for the next milestone within 10 days of acceptance of previous milestones, the Booking under the next milestones will not start. Please note that if you choose to stop future milestones, the current booked milestone will not be cancelled.
Hosts may purchase a Service Subscription, if available on the Cleaner’s Service Page. During the Service Subscription term, a new Booking of the same Service will be automatically created on a recurring basis, as agreed between the Cleaner and Host.
